With extensive experience in architecture and project delivery, Levan Maghlakelidze leads the design and execution of projects at Wei Yap Architects, overseeing their development from concept to completion.

Levan has a strong ability to translate ambitious design ideas into practical, deliverable outcomes. His experience across complex projects enables him to balance design quality, technical requirements, project constraints, and delivery priorities, ensuring ideas are developed with clarity and successfully realised.

As Chief Architect, Levan plays a central role in coordinating the practice’s architectural work, guiding project teams, and upholding consistently high standards of design and execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Nini Norakidze is the Head of the Architecture Department at Wei Yap Architects. Trained as a lawyer, Nini brings together legal expertise, architectural processes, leadership, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

With her legal background and a detailed understanding of local regulatory processes, Nini leads the practice’s engagement with authorities, including the City Hall of Tbilisi, and across Georgia. She helps project teams navigate planning, approvals, and statutory requirements with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Nini is also a natural leader. Her caring, collaborative, and highly organised approach strengthens communication across the practice, fosters strong professional relationships, and contributes to a positive, supportive team culture, both within the practice and across other departments.

Tata Khachidze is the Interior Design Lead at Wei Yap Architects and the creative force behind the practice’s interior design department.

With strong conceptualisation skills, Tata develops distinctive interior environments that are closely integrated with the architectural vision of each project. She leads the design process from initial concept and material direction through to detailed development, delivery, and implementation.

Her expertise in finishes, furnishings, and material sourcing enables her to balance creativity with practicality, ensuring that each interior is thoughtfully resolved, deliverable, and responsive to the project’s identity, context, and commercial objectives.

With over 25 years of international experience across Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and the Caucasus, Wei Yap has led the design and delivery of award-winning architecture, urban design, and development projects through senior directorship roles at some of the world’s most respected architectural practices.

He has worked across diverse markets, regulatory environments, and development models, and brings a deep understanding of how successful projects are conceived, procured, managed, and delivered.

Wei Yap is a registered architect in Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects, and currently serves as Chair of the International Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects, representing Australian architects working across global markets. Through these roles, he remains actively engaged with international industry leaders, institutions, developers, and design practices worldwide.
