Rivertown

Rivertown is conceived as a northern gateway to Tbilisi, drawing its architectural narrative from the dramatic confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers near Mtskheta. From Jvari, the two rivers can be seen meeting as distinct, coloured currents before merging into one, an image that has become emblematic of the landscape north of the capital.

This moment of convergence inspires the project’s powerful sculptural form: two flowing architectural gestures come together, overlap and respond to one another, creating a sense of movement, tension and unity. The architecture extends this idea through generous balconies, terraces and landscaped communal spaces, linking domestic life to the wider river landscape.

Rivertown therefore becomes more than a residential development; it is conceived as a landmark of arrival, where water, movement and convergence shape a contemporary identity for Tbilisi’s northern edge.
